Case: Covidpass and the fight for basic human rights
In 2021 and 2022, Covidpass was implemented all over the world – including in Finland.
Government officials launched the app to tackle the crisis and made laws that allowed businesses to remain open for business 100% by requiring Covidpass from customers.

In December 2021, Mika Vauhkala, b. 1980, was going to have breakfast with his friend at Fazer Cafe Kluuvikatu, located in central Helsinki.

After entering the room – Mika was asked by Fazer employees to show Covidpass so that he could proceed and enjoy breakfast at the table.

It was a normal life event, nothing extravagant or special. At the time, Mika was 100% healthy with no need to see a doctor and was not taking any medication. Access to the cafe was denied.

In general – you could have had the Covidpass uploaded to your phone and have it “green” if you had taken Covid jabs, had a positive PCR result sometime before, or if you had a 24-72 hour negative Covid test to show.

The right to free movement and the right to privacy of health information were violated. The Constitution of Finland guarantees that every citizen may not be discriminated against due to, among other things, health conditions. Now the Fazer employee assumed that Mika was a threat and danger to people around him – Mika himself had no evidence that he was a man you could not come into contact with.

It is a known fact that PCR tests do not tell whether you are sick or not, and it was common knowledge before December 2021 that Covid vaccines did not prevent transmission or protect you from getting Covid.

Mika Vauhkala has sued the Finnish government and Fazer for the violation of basic human rights by requiring the Covidpass. The first preparatory session was held on June 6, 2023, and a second preparatory session will be on October 19, 2023 in the Helsinki District Court.

This is a unique case from Europe, where a citizen is suing the highest government body and a company with a billion euros in revenue for discrimination.

As Mika says, he is looking for a justification for what happened and to create an example for the future.

The EU and WHO have recently launched plans to implement Covidpass aka Vaccinepass globally.

Now is the time to stand up and defend our basic human rights – otherwise medical tyranny may become even more difficult in the future.

In his free time, Mika loves to play padel, lift weights, follow sports and travel around the world. He is a small business owner and has been working in insurance business for Finnish clients for the past 10 years, representing large insurance companies as an agent. For now, Mika is focused on securing entrepreneurs against health-related risks.

This is the only case in the world – to our knowledge – where a top government agency and a major corporation are being sued for discrimination by implementing and requiring Covidpass.

It is a noble and honorable cause to defend our common fundamental rights in times like these.
