Latinos and COVID vaccine injuries: Causation recognized for two women. "Now the path to compensation is paved."

In recent days, the first medico-legal opinions have been issued concerning two women from the Pontine province. The documents confirm that after receiving the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines, the patients developed cardiac and neurological disorders with consequences for their physical and mental health. The cases are being handled by lawyer Renato Mattarelli, who has long been helping people who report vaccination-related injuries, especially those related to cardiac, blood and neurological disorders.

One of the two women, the one who received the AstraZeneca vaccine, has already been awarded a lifetime compensation of approximately 850 euros per month plus arrears. The situation is different for the other patient who received the Pfizer vaccine: she will need an additional technical assessment to quantify the extent of the injuries. This assessment has already been requested through a new appeal. "Although these are the first medico-legal opinions that acknowledge that the Covid-19 vaccination was not without risks, it is clear that these initial findings pave the way for significant compensation for health damage to be sought, depending on the case, from the Ministry of Health, the Italian Medicines Agency and multinational pharmaceutical companies," comments lawyer Renato Mattarelli.

However, financial compensation does not end the case. According to the cases we have followed, the damage is not only physical. Many patients, once the causal link has been confirmed, also experience a significant psychological impact, linked to lifestyle changes and the awareness of their condition.

It is precisely after the announcement of the reports confirming the causal link (vaccine pathology) that victims may develop post-traumatic stress disorder or even difficulties in adapting to a new lifestyle, limited by post-vaccination pathologies. This is because the knowledge of having been harmed by the very people the state that guaranteed the safety of vaccination inevitably creates distrust in the Health Administration, as the lawyer explains.

These initial acknowledgements, however, mark an important step. They do not settle the debate, but they establish that there are cases in which a direct link between vaccination and harm has been established. And for those who have filed similar complaints, a concrete option now opens up: the possibility of obtaining compensation and damages after years of waiting.
